The Texas Rescue Competition hosts a Rope Rescue Competition each year at Garner State Park here in Texas. Our members have assembled a team and competed for the last three years. 2001 was our best year yet. Our team won the Advanced Category and the Vertical Category, as well as taking home the trophy for Overall High Points. Our guys have spent a tremendous amount of their own time in their pursuit of excellence, and their dedication, most notably that of Andy Lancaster, has resulted in a raising of the bar not only in the competition, but in the rope rescue field itself. We are extremely proud of our entire team. Thanks gents.
