IRVING LOCAL 2073 PEER SUPPORT TEAM ASSISTS UVALDE FIRST RESPONDERS
Irving, TX Local 2073 peer support members answered the call to assist Uvalde fire fighters in the aftermath of the mass killing at the Robb Elementary School. Although the Uvalde Fire Department is not an IAFF affiliate, our brothers and sisters from Local 2073 stepped up to assist the community.

Your Irving Fire Fighters were recognized by the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the "2022 Louis E. Hebert and Tom Riddle Leadership Seminar" hosted by the Texas State Association of Fire Fighters and the Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma. The IPFFA finished 2021 as one of the top fundraisers in the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) 11th District. Your Irving Professional Fire Fighters Association is starting our annual "Fill the Boot" fundraiser in partnership with the Muscular Dystrophy Association! Every dollar you donate goes directly to the MDA, and from there, goes to funding effective treatments and therapies for those affected by neuromuscular diseases.
